Susan Margaret Olson

Wolfeboro- Susan Olson, 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025, at the Wolfeboro Bay Nursing Center.
Susan was born on July 29, 1948, in Liverpool, England, a place she considered home her whole life. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Wilson) Dean.
Susan graduated from Smith College and obtained her master’s degree from Tufts University. She worked in education most of her adult life having been on the faculty of Brooks School, Brewster Academy, and Kingswood Regional High School for many years.
Susan is survived by her sons, Adam Olson and Jake Olson; grandchildren, Lily, Brooke, Jacob, and Mackenzie Olson; brother Keith Dean, and many extended friends and family. Susan was predeceased by her husband of 49 years John (David) Olson in 2017, brother James Dean, and daughter-in-law Lauren Olson.
Susan had many hobbies and pastimes but was happiest curling up with a good book, and spending time with her family and friends on the lake.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 29th at the All-Saints Episcopal Church, 258 South Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH 03894 at 11:00 a.m.
