Timothy Edward Galvin

December 30, 1925 — November 23, 2022

Timothy Edward Galvin left this earth to join his “Baby Doll” & “Chicken” Tim is survived by son Michael Galvin, Sister Peg Wellman, Grandson Joshua Galvin and the newest addition to keep the Galvin ancestry alive, Max Galvin and his other “son” Chuck Walsh. Tim was a veteran of WWII. Serving in the Army Air Corp. After the war he had various jobs. Finally landing at Logan Airport in the custodial dept. Tim worked various jobs at the Port. Each job more important than the next. His last job before retiring was Foreman of the sign shop. To show you the kind of man my “Dad” was, on a heinous tragic day July 31st Delta Flight 723 crashed into a sea wall and all of the crew and passengers died. They asked for volunteers, to walk the crash site for bodies, luggage etc. He was there for 2-3 days. He told me he picked up a baby’s shoe with the foot still in it! He had nightmares ever since. But the kind of man he was , he would “literally” take the shirt off his back for a stranger. His generosity was only overseen by his love and compassion for his fellow man. Every year Dad enjoyed going to the store, buying 20 turkeys and donating to the Agape Native American Tribe here in Ossipee. As his health failed he wrote a check. He would donate to every foundation and charity that reached out to him. Generosity, love and compassion for everyone was Timothy Edward Galvin. I’ll miss you RIP Dad. The Baker-Gagne Funeral Homes and Cremation Service of West Ossipee and Wolfeboro are assisting the family with the arrangements. Condolences may be offered at www.baker-gagnefuneralhomes.com
