Moultonborough - Irma Helene Prestinari Boehm of Moultonborough, New Hampshire died peacefully at her home on December 5, 2012. Born September 19, 1918 in Cranston, Rhode Island; daughter of the late Eugen F. Prestinari and Elsie May Prestinari, she grew up in Summit, New Jersey, and also lived in Short Hills, New Jersey; moving to Moultonborough upon retirement with her husband in 1974. Irma graduated from Kent Place School for Girls, Summit, New Jersey. She studied art at Pratt Institute, and worked for Norcross Card Company as an illustrator. In her leisure, she enjoyed playing golf and bridge. Irma had a passion for the opera, and she loved to sing. In her later years, she often painted. Some of her favorite subjects to paint were her family and animals, especially cows and dogs. The most loving person, she will be dearly missed. Pre-deceased by her husband Roland F. Boehm in 1990, she is survived by her son and daughter, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held for friends and family.
